From an early age, I’ve had a passion for storytelling and an eye for composition and color. I know from experience that through stories shared, we can create a connection with others that is truly magical. As an ardent observer and active listener, I’ve always been excited by helping others share their stories through film and photography. To help others bring their vision to life, I have built my “tool box”: a set of skills developed in theatre classes throughout high school and in technical photography and film classes at college, as well as through work in small and large scale productions in various studios and theaters in New York City and Florida since 2013. (Rattlestick Theatre, Black Box, Voyage, and Steiner Studios to name a few.)
Foremost among the things I carry in my tool box are grace and ingenuity under pressure. I’m able to adapt quickly when unforeseen circumstances arise, applying logistical on-the-set problem solving to ensure no vision is too complex to realize successfully. I’m technically adept in both the hardware and software of photography and film. These are the prime tools in my tool box. I shoot with the SONY Aii series, and know my camera like she’s an extension of my body. I’m skilled at setting up and photographing under both studio light and natural light and have a comprehensive command of the entire Adobe suites in post production. In the end, though, no technical toolbox is worth much unless the hand that holds the tools is guided by a passion for getting the images “right” – images that allow us to experience ourselves in this wondrous world freshly and vividly. I’m passionate about getting and delivering the images that will tell your story, reveal your vision, and for that I will always go above and beyond.
